学生時代にバックパックを背負い、20ヵ国以上を旅しました。
乳飲み子を抱えたホームレスの女性、路上で暮らすストリートチルドレン。
日本では考えられない光景にショックを受けました。
それから20年後、子どもを連れてフィリピンを旅行し、
帰国のためホテルを出ると、息子と同じ年頃の少年が座っていました。
やせ細った手に紙コップを持って物乞いをしていたのです。
「一緒に飛行機に乗って日本で暮らそう」と息子は言いました。
誰も置き去りにされない世の中を作るために、私にできることは何か。
その後の素晴らしい人や物との出会いから生まれたのが
ソーシャルファッションブランド「ofuku’」です。
無限大の可能性を秘めたファッションの力で
貧困に苦しむ女性や子ども達に支援の輪を広げていきます。

When I was a student, I traveled to more than 20 countries with my backpack.
There I was so shocked to see a homeless woman with a suckling child and streetchilden living on the street.
It was the unthinkable sight in Japan.
Twenty years later, I traveled to the Philippines with my son.When I left the hotel for her return to Japan,
a boy about the same age with my son was sitting in front of the hotel.
He was begging with a paper cup in his thin hand."Let's fly and live in Japan together", my son said.
What can I do to create a world where no one is left behind?
The social fashion brand"ofuku’"was born from the subsequent encounters with wonderful people and things.
With the power of fashion, I will expand the circle of support to women and children suffering from poverty.
